Stronghold Compass LLC (“Stronghold Compass,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website strongholdcompass.com. We respect your privacy and are committed to being transparent about how we collect and use your information. This policy is written in plain English because that is how we prefer to do business.

We collect only what you voluntarily provide and what basic analytics tools automatically record when you visit our site.
Email address (when you opt in). If you fill out an email sign-up form on our site, you provide us your email address. That is the only personal information we request. Providing it is entirely optional. We do not collect your name unless you choose to include it.
Analytics data (automatic, anonymized). When you visit strongholdcompass.com, two third-party analytics services collect standard usage data about your visit:
Both tools use cookies and/or local storage to function. We do not use any other cookies, tracking pixels, or advertising scripts.
We do not collect payment information, physical addresses, phone numbers, or any sensitive personal data. We have no e-commerce functionality on this site at this time.
Your email address is used solely to send you email newsletters and updates about Stronghold Compass publications, tools, and resources. We send email through Kit (formerly ConvertKit), a U.S.-based email marketing platform. Kit stores your email address on our behalf and delivers messages according to our instructions. Kit’s privacy policy is available at kit.com/privacy.
Analytics data is used to understand how visitors use our website so we can improve it. We do not use analytics data to identify individual users.

We keep your email address in our Kit account for as long as you remain subscribed. When you unsubscribe, Kit suppresses your address from future sends. You may request complete deletion at any time by emailing us (see Section 8).
Analytics data is retained according to Google’s and Microsoft’s standard retention policies (typically 14 months for GA4 event data).
Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link in the footer, as required by the U.S. CAN-SPAM Act. Clicking that link removes you from all future mailings. Unsubscribe requests are processed within 10 business days, but typically take effect immediately.
You may also email us directly at tracy@strongholdcompass.com to be removed from our list.
This site uses cookies only for the two analytics tools described in Section 2 (Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity). We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or social media tracking scripts.
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Doing so will not affect your ability to read our content; it will only limit the analytics data those third-party tools can collect.
If you are in the EU/UK, some browsers and tools will prompt you to manage consent for analytics cookies. We honor those signals.
